AGAT also compared the launch costs of SpaceX and Boeing with the new Eagle spacecraft being developed in Russia p> AGAT said in a report, "nowadays, the space transportation system based on the Russian Soyuz manned spacecraft has more economic advantages. The price paid by astronauts or space tourists mainly depends on the additional services provided and the overall market situation." p>
agat quoted the estimated data of NASA in the report, saying that the single launch cost of SpaceX manned dragon spacecraft is about US $210million, while the single launch cost of Boeing's Starline spacecraft is about US $345million. Both companies have won NASA contracts to deliver goods and personnel to the international space station, but SpaceX is the only company with a manned launch license. Although AGAT did not disclose the specific launch cost of the Russian Soyuz spacecraft, it earlier claimed that the cost of the Russian space agency to complete the moon landing mission with a spacecraft would be four times lower than that of a US built spacecraft p>
Boeing recently successfully completed the unmanned flight test mission of Starline spacecraft to and from the international space station, and plans to conduct manned launch test in the near future. According to current estimates, if a manned space mission license is obtained, the cost of transporting each astronaut by Starline spacecraft is about $87million. Boeing plans to increase the number of seats in the Starline spacecraft to seven in order to reduce the cost of a single launch to $50million. In contrast, SpaceX's manned dragon spacecraft has only four seats, each costing $53million p> The AGAT report was released before the US manned space mission crew-5 took off. SpaceX plans to send four crew-5 astronauts to the international space station in September this year, including Russian astronaut Anna kikina, who is currently the only serving female astronaut of the Russian space agency. According to the cross flight agreement reached between the Russian space agency and NASA, Jinna will take the American spacecraft. In exchange, NASA will send an astronaut into space aboard the Soyuz spacecraft p>
the agreement also involves next year's crew-6 manned space mission. Russian astronaut Andrei fedyaev will take the US spacecraft to the international space station in 2023. (Chenchen)
